Providence Saint Joseph Foundation Mario Lopez Golf Classic raises $435,000 for Minutes Matter Emergency Services Campaign

Providence Saint Joseph Foundation hosted its annual Mario Lopez Golf Classic at Lakeside Golf Club in Toluca Lake on Monday, June 13, 2022. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, more than 200 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day that included 18 holes of golf, a cocktail reception, live auction, golf awards and a special performance by Yächtley Crëw.

The event raised $435,000 in support of the Minutes Matter Emergency Services Campaign with the help of many generous sponsors, including Presenting Sponsor NBCUniversal and Birdie Sponsor The Walt Disney Company.

“We are absolutely thrilled with this year’s turnout. It’s an honor to lead the committee in planning this fantastic event and NBCUniversal is proud to be the Presenting Sponsor again this year,” says golf committee chair, Michael Daruty.

Tina Johann, chief philanthropy officer, reflects, “We are so proud of the enthusiastic and supportive golf community who helped us accomplish the opening of the Jaromír Střížka Emergency Department.”
