Introducing our new Chief Medical Officer
Lisa Laurent, M.D., M.B.A., MS-HQSM, CPE, FAAPL, FIOM

We are pleased to welcome Lisa Laurent, M.D., M.B.A., MS-HQSM, CPE, FAAPL, FIOM, as chief medical officer at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center. Dr. Laurent is a board-certified radiologist and experienced physician leader who most recently served as the Central Iowa Market chief medical officer at MercyOne in Des Moines. Previously, she served as chief medical officer for CommonSpirit Health at CHI St. Alexius in Bismarck, North Dakota. She was an independent practitioner for over 20 years and served as chief of staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge, Illinois.

Dr. Laurent received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed her diagnostic radiology residency training at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, followed by a cross-sectional imaging fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a prominent Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. She earned her Master of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Science in Health Care Quality and Safety Management (MS-HQSM) at the Jefferson School of Population Health.


Meet our new Chief Nursing Officer
Katherine Doll, BSN, MBA/HCM, CENP

Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center is proud to welcome Katherine Doll, BSN, MBA/HCM, CENP, as chief nursing officer.

Kathy is an experienced health care executive and accomplished nursing leader. Her prior roles include serving as chief nursing officer at St. Francis Medical Center in Lynwood, California, where she was responsible for quality/risk, radiology, laboratory, respiratory therapy and pharmacy. She has also held executive roles at Steward Health Care in Arizona, Tenet Healthcare in Texas, Northwest Medical Center in Arizona, and the Hospitals of Providence in Texas.

As the founder and principal consultant at Quality Care Creations, Kathy helped health care organizations recommit to their mission, vision and core values. She earned a Master of Business Administration and Health Care Management from the University of Phoenix in Denver, Colorado. Additionally, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and an associate degree in nursing from Highland Community College in Freeport, Illinois. Kathy is certified in executive nursing practice (CENP) by the American Organization of Nurse Executives
