What motivates your desire to give back?
I was inspired to give back with my time and service after my friend with cancer was cared for at Saint Joseph Medical Center.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
I was born at Saint Joseph and became involved as a teenager because my mother, Maria Uribe, was a Foundation Board Member.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
I’m inspired by the doctors, nurses, and foundation staff members through the years that treated my father, Javier Ricardo Uribe 1934-2019, with not only sound medical treatments but also an added touch of dignity and genuine personal care.
