He served as mayor of Burbank, California between 1986 – 1993 and participates in multiple leadership and foundation boards. He’s also the founder of Burbank Run for The Hungry and Burbank Police Foundation.
He and his wife Katherine have three children.
What motivates your desire to give back?
It is of fundamental importance to me that I strive to work for and with others to bring a better life to those less fortunate, ill and disadvantaged.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
Saint Joseph is my hospital. The doctors, nurses, support staff and ministers are my community and I feel compelled to be there for them when called upon.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
As a board member for 16 years, I’ve enjoyed the collaboration with many fine men and women who’ve shared visions of many miracles — and we’ve delivered.
