She joined the Guild in 1992 and has chaired many of their major fundraisers well as serving in various positions on their board.
Julie and her husband Mark have one daughter, who was born at Saint Joseph.
What motivates your desire to give back?
It’s important to me to share my time and talents to make a difference in our society. We all have something we can offer.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
Saint Joseph has always been “my hospital”. My mother, father and father-in-law were all patients. My husband’s aunt was a long time member of the Guild and encouraged me to join and I have since recruited my sister in law to join as well, so we have a “legacy” to uphold.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
As the Guild President, it’s important to me to keep the Guild and our efforts in the forefront and to continue to support our Medical Center however we can.
