At Lockheed, Skip served as Vice President of Strategic Planning and Corporate Development before becoming President of Lockheed Aircraft Service Company and later, President of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics International. He’s currently on the Board of Kaiser Aircraft in Birmingham, Alabama.
Skip and his wife Linda have been married for over 61 years. They have two children and three grandchildren.
What motivates your desire to give back?
Since moving to California, both Saint Joseph Medical Center and St. Charles Borromeo Church have become very important to my wife and me.
Why are you supporting the medical center?
Our three grandchildren were born there. We’ve also gone for lung surgery, several hip and knee operations, major back surgery, and a few kidney stones.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
The hospital and foundation are where we’ve met the greatest group of caring and dedicated people.
