She’s been recognized by the NACD Directorship as one of America’s most influential people in Corporate Governance and is a recipient of the B. Kenneth West Lifetime Achievement Award. She was also named Outstanding Director by the Financial Times “Outstanding Director Exchange.”
In 2016, she co-chaired the NACD Blue Ribbon Commission Report on Building the Strategic Asset Board.
What motivates your desire to give back?
It was instilled in me by my Christian grandmother who said “no matter how little you have, you must share it with those who have even less.”
Why are you supporting the medical center?
I’m supporting the Medical Center because of the care and kindness my family and I received at Saint Joseph during the most stressful time of our lives. God gave my husband a second chance.
Why did you agree to join the foundation board?
Serving on the board is a way for my husband and me to help spread the message of Providence Saint Joseph’s mission, and its much needed place in our society.
