Angelique Campen, M.D.

She’s an emergency medicine physician, mother of three, and serves law enforcement and local municipalities as the founder of Vital Medical Services — a company that assists in the medical needs of first responders, in-custody patients, and public health needs.

Angelique is currently a Board member of the Ebell Women’s Club, Wilshire Rotary, and the Assistance League of Los Angeles. She also volunteers her medical services at the LA Free Clinic and travels the world on medical missions to help bring health education to those less fortunate.

What motivates your desire to give back?

I have a passion for providing care to poor and vulnerable populations.

Why are you supporting the medical center?

Having worked at a variety of hospitals throughout Southern California, I’m fortunate that I landed at Saint Joseph for the bulk of my career.

Why did you agree to join the foundation board?

I am proud to be part of a system that has values that align with mine, that supports a process for caring for all patients, and that sets meaningful priorities in the health care setting.
